Year 9 appears in both trainers, but a student never needs both at once. Year 9 NAPLAN comes first, and it is those results that determine whether a student has to sit OLNA at all — do well enough in Year 9 NAPLAN and the matching OLNA component is already met.
So for a Year 9, the NAPLAN Trainer is the one that matters, and it is the cheaper path in every sense: a good Year 9 result can take OLNA off the table for good. The OLNA Trainer is for the students who still have a component to meet in Years 10 to 12. If you are not sure which your child needs, email us and we will tell you straight — including if the answer is that you do not need us yet.
Scholarship season is short, so the monthly plan is the one most families want. Start in October, practise through to the February sitting, cancel yourself the day after — the same $20 a month, one student, cancel any time. Yearly is there at $200 for families preparing for more than one year level.
Most scholarship prep sold in Australia is written for the ACER or EduTest exams. Ten of the eighteen Perth schools we track set an AAS paper, so ours is AAS-style — built for the paper your child will actually sit — with a full worked explanation for every question, timed reasoning sets and full-length practice papers.
SUBSCRIBE ▶ WHAT IS IN IT ▶Priced for your school, not per family. Tell us roughly how many students and which trainer, and we will come back with a quote and set the whole thing up — student accounts, class groups and teacher logins included.
One invoice, no cards, no auto-renewal. School subscriptions are invoiced in Australian dollars for an agreed term, and we contact you before it ends rather than charging you again automatically.
We will also complete your department's online-services or security questionnaire, sign a data processing agreement, and answer anything in our Security Policy — including the parts where the honest answer is that a control is not in place yet.
EMAIL FOR A QUOTE ▶A family subscription renews — monthly or yearly, whichever you picked — until you stop it. Every receipt carries a link to your billing portal, where cancelling takes one click and takes effect immediately — no email to send, no notice period, nobody to talk to, and nothing ever charged again. You keep access to the end of the period you have already paid for. If you would rather we did it, email us and we will, within one business day. See Terms §14.3.
Your card details never touch our systems. Payment runs through Stripe on Stripe's own page. We hold your name, your email address and a record of what you paid — and no card number, CVC or bank account. See Privacy §4.7 and Security §11.2.
We do not market at you. The only email you get is about your own subscription, unless you separately opt in to anything else.
These are practice tools, not the real assessment. Nothing either trainer produces is an OLNA or NAPLAN result, and no score here predicts one. AI marking is practice feedback and it can be wrong — Terms §10 is blunt about that.
Writing is marked outside Australia. Both databases are in Sydney, so your child's account and practice history stay in Australia — but writing responses are sent to the United States to be marked by AI. If that is a problem for you, tell us before you subscribe rather than after — Privacy §9 sets out the position and the options.
Monthly. Because you keep access for the rest of a month you have paid for, we do not normally refund part of a month. But if you were charged for a month you meant to cancel and your child has not used it, email us and we will refund it — we would rather do that than have you feel stung.
Yearly. $200 is a lot to be stuck with if things change, so we do not treat it as spent. Cancel an annual subscription part way through and we refund the whole unused months, on request. Two months in, that is ten months back.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything on this page: Terms §14.6.
